Javier Alloza

Born in Alcorisa (Teruel, Spain). Extraordinary Prize in Saxophone and Chamber Music by the Turolense Musical Institute and end of career with “Cum Laude” by the Conservatory of Music of Aragon, being the first student to obtain this qualification. In 2007 accedes to the class of Arno Bornkamp in the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where he graduates in Bachelor.

Winner of the 1st Prize at the International Competition of Saxophone "Merza 2008", Winner of the Competition-Scholarship "Young Performers" 2002 and of the "Scholarship of Perfection" 2007 of Ibercaja-Government of Aragon as well as 3rd Prize of Music Chamber Competition “Juventudes Musicales”. He has been a member of the Symphony Orchestra of the Superior Conservatory of Aragon, of the EGO (Youth Symphony Orchestra of the Basque Country) Euywo (European Union Symphonic Band) under the direction of Jan Cober, World Symphony Band "World of Winds" under direction of Christian Lindberg and Ole Edvard Antonsen, Saxofoon Ensemble of the CVA (Conservatorium van Amsterdam).

He has performed at Festivals such as "On Wings" in Groningen, St. Olavs Festival in Trondheim (Norway), The Music Festival in Elverum in Hamar (Norway) and Rheingau Musik Festival in Wiesbaden (Germany) or Saxfest 2014 in Amsterdam Paquito de Rivera, James Carter, Othis Murphy, Jean Marie Londeix, Claude Delangle, Vicent David and Brandford Marsalis. He has also recorded for the German Radio, for Radio Klassiek Nederlands, the Norwegian Band Federation, RNE, Classic Radio or Mezzo TV Channel.
He has collaborated with the Madrid Symphony Orchestra and the Teatro Real, under the direction of Pablo Heras Casado, Eliahu Inbal, Teodor Currentzis and Emmanuel Villaume, with whom he has collaborated in productions such as the "Lulu" Opera by Alban Berg, “Ascension and fall of the city of Mahagonny "by Kurt Weill or" Wherter "by Jules Masennet, participating in the first international tour of the Royal Theater in Russia, at the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow.
In 2014 he is invited by Arno Bornkamp to teach at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. He is currently Director of the International Course of Saxophone "Alcosax" and Professor of Saxophone at the "Rafael Orozco" Superior Conservatory of Cordoba.
